Data Rights, Attribution & Licensing
1. BondStats-authored layer
Copyright in BondStats-authored explanatory text, original analysis, proprietary indicators, methodology descriptions, interface design, metadata written by BondStats, and the original selection or arrangement of BondStats datasets belongs to BondStats Ltd unless a page states otherwise. All rights are reserved. No blanket right to resell, white-label, bulk-republish or commercially redistribute the BondStats-authored layer is granted by this page.
2. Third-party observations are not sublicensed
BondStats uses public financial and economic observations supplied by central banks, government departments, statistical authorities, international organisations and other source institutions. Those underlying observations remain governed by the rights, licences, attribution rules and terms of the original publisher. BondStats does not grant a licence to those third-party observations and does not represent that it owns them.
3. Source terms control
If the terms of an original source differ from this notice, the original source terms control for that source material. Where a source requires attribution, disclosure of modification, notice that the source is freely available, or other conditions, those requirements remain applicable. Where a source restricts commercial redistribution or requires additional permission, this notice does not override that restriction.
4. Derived values and transformations
BondStats may calculate derived measures such as spreads, ratios, composite indicators, normalized scores, estimated debt stocks or curve diagnostics from source observations. Derived values are identified as BondStats calculations where appropriate. The underlying source observations remain subject to the original provider’s terms even when used as inputs to a BondStats calculation.
5. FRED® API and FRED-hosted series
Where BondStats uses the FRED® API, that API use is governed by the FRED® API Terms of Use. Availability of a series through FRED® does not override the rights or restrictions of the underlying series owner. BondStats therefore does not treat FRED® availability as a blanket commercial redistribution licence and does not claim rights in third-party series merely because they are accessible through the FRED® API.
6. No endorsement
Source attribution is provided for provenance and does not imply that any source institution sponsors, endorses, approves or is affiliated with BondStats. BondStats is an independent research and analytical platform.
7. No warranty
Data and analytical outputs are provided for informational and research purposes. Source observations may be revised, corrected, delayed or discontinued. BondStats does not warrant that any dataset is complete, error-free or suitable for a particular investment, legal, accounting or regulatory purpose.
8. Reuse of BondStats material
Linking to BondStats and ordinary citation of factual findings is permitted. Reproduction or redistribution of third-party source data must comply with the original source terms. Systematic extraction, bulk redistribution, resale, white-label publication or creation of a competing data service from the BondStats-authored database layer requires prior written permission from BondStats unless a specific page grants broader rights.
