Financial Infrastructure Risk Map
Explore the payment, securities, FX, clearing, collateral and messaging infrastructure behind global finance. Every activity figure shown below is tied to a public institutional source; the BondStats score measures structural criticality, not the probability of failure.
How to read this mapHigh scores mean that a service combines large throughput, settlement finality, strong interdependencies and limited short-term substitutability. They do not imply that an operator is unsafe or likely to fail.

PROPAGATION LENS
Trace a disruption channel
This is an educational propagation model. It highlights infrastructure whose published role intersects the selected channel; it does not simulate an actual attack or predict losses.
T+0Critical service availability drops
T+1Payment / settlement queues accumulate
T+2Intraday liquidity buffers absorb delay
T+3Cut-off and end-of-day completion risk rises
T+4Cross-system dependencies become binding
T+0Incoming funds are delayed
T+1Participants conserve liquidity
T+2Collateral demand increases
T+3Settlement throughput slows
T+4Funding stress can spill across markets
T+0Instructions cannot be exchanged normally
T+1Manual / alternative channels are invoked
T+2Payment timing becomes uncertain
T+3Reconciliation workload rises
T+4Settlement and liquidity effects can follow
T+0Final settlement is delayed
T+1Counterparties retain exposures longer
T+2Cash and securities fail to recycle
T+3Margin / collateral needs may increase
T+4Knock-on effects reach linked markets
METHODOLOGY
BondStats Structural Criticality Index
A transparent structural model, not an official designation and not a probability of failure. It scores the potential importance of a disruption using four 0–25 dimensions.
Throughput · 0–25Scale of public activity metrics and the economic value flowing through the infrastructure.
Finality · 0–25Importance of the system for final payment, securities or FX settlement.
Connectivity · 0–25Breadth of cross-market, participant and infrastructure interdependencies.
Substitutability · 0–25How difficult it would be to replace the function quickly during disruption; higher score means lower practical substitutability.
