Portugal 10-Year Yield
This chart shows the yield of Portugal’s 10-year government bond over time. Portuguese bond yields are influenced by eurozone monetary policy, fiscal conditions, and investor perceptions of sovereign risk within the European Union.
The legacy Google Sheets chart and spreadsheet interface have been removed. Historical observations are rendered by BondStats code; the existing sheet is used only as a transitional historical data feed, while the latest observation is taken from the automatically updated BondStats master yield dataset.
Portugal bond market context
Portuguese government bond yields share the European Central Bank monetary-policy backdrop while retaining country-specific fiscal, issuance and liquidity components. Sovereign spreads can therefore move even when the common euro risk-free curve is stable.
Portugal’s 10-year government bond is part of the southern euro sovereign complex. Comparisons with Spain, Italy and Germany help show whether moves are broad-based across the euro area or concentrated in particular sovereign spreads.

Built for automatic updates
Current observation. Loaded directly from BondStats’ global_yields.json master dataset on every page visit with cache bypassing, so the country page follows the same automated pipeline as the global yield tools.
Source-aware. The page displays the source and frequency carried by the dataset instead of hard-coding “FRED”. Stale observations are flagged visibly rather than presented as current.
Native presentation. Charts, recent observations, status and responsive layout are rendered by BondStats code. No Google Sheets iframe or third-party chart UI remains on the page.
